Cook Up the Future of Food — Together!

Where Food Businesses Connect and Grow

FoodOwners is a free platform where chefs, makers, suppliers, and food entrepreneurs connect, share ideas, and grow together.

They weren’t food pros — but they listened.

FoodOwners: Created by Students, Made for Food Entrepreneurs

Two engineering students from the University of Washington kept hearing the same thing from food business owners: isolation, burnout, no real support. One of those voices was Julio, owner of Loco Chon Bar & Grill in Newcastle, WA, who opened his modern-Mexican spot in the middle of the pandemic. He shared how a simple space to talk—about supply issues, hiring headaches, or just to vent—would’ve made a huge difference.

So together, they decided to do something about it.

They built FoodOwners — a free, community‑first platform where food people can ask, connect, and grow together. Because no one should have to figure it all out alone.
